Head of DSP platform

Job Description:

We are looking for a Head of DSP platform for an international programmatic advertising company that specializes in the global digital advertising supply chain.
The company is a part of a group of companies that have been on the market for about 10 years.  It empowers agencies, brands, and advertisers to unlock the full potential of programmatic media — maximizing ROI and reaching addressable audiences across all digital channels and formats.
The Project – in-house DSP platform.
Location / Office – Portugal or fully remote from any country.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for DSP-related products and services.
  • Market analysis and expansion into new markets
  • Explore and integrate SaaS DSP platforms available on the market to establish a scalable and cost-efficient DSP strategy.
  • Identify, engage, and close partnerships with agencies, brands, and advertisers across global markets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with DSP vendors, data providers, and technology partners.
  • Build and lead an international team to expand advertiser onboarding in multiple GEOs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (trading, data, product, and marketing) to design customized programmatic solutions for clients.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and long-term partnership contracts.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to guide product development and innovation.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and pipeline updates to senior leadership.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within AdTech or programmatic advertising.
  • Experience as Head of DSP or similar roles in Adtech (product owner DSP, BDM or lead sales etc)
  • Deep understanding of DSPs, RTB mechanics, audience targeting, and data-driven marketing.
  • Proven record of revenue growth and new client acquisition. Hands-on experience with The Trade Desk, Beeswax, DV360, MediaMath, or Amazon DSP is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset; able to convert insights into actionable business plans.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
