Head of Retail Business Center

Job Description:

Due to the formation of a new retail structure aimed at increasing market share in the Kyiv region, the bank is expanding its team.

  • Bank size in Ukraine: 320 branches and 5,500 employees
  • Retail network in the region: 60–80 branches (Kyiv region, Zhytomyr, and Chernihiv regions)

Position Objective

To structure and scale retail business in the assigned region by increasing market share through the acquisition of new customers and the implementation of innovative products.

  • Location: Kyiv (Central Office), full-time, hybrid work model

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of the retail branch network in the region (openings, development, performance)
  • Execution of the sales plan, with a focus on consumer lending
  • Achievement of regional KPIs: sales volume, branch productivity, service quality
  • Development of the regional team: training, motivation, retention
  • Collaboration with head office departments
  • Implementation of corporate strategy at the regional level
  • Market analysis, launch of local initiatives, participation in transformation projects
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Participation in the development strategy of the retail business
  • Communication with central office departments and C-Level management

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Regional Director or Head of Branch Network in Ukrainian or international banks
  • Proven track record of managing 10+ banking branches
  • Deep understanding of regional branch network management and retail banking product sales
  • Experience in driving sales growth, including payroll projects and acquiring services
  • Solid knowledge of retail banking, lending, KPIs, and P&L management
  • Experience in implementing best practices in team management and motivation across all branch levels
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and crisis management skills
  • Confident in people management: recruitment, motivation, and team development
  • Proactive, systematic thinker, adaptable to change
